Woman sentenced for torturing children | News
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- A Delhi Township woman was sentenced Monday for torturing two children.
Melody Clayton, 42, was sentenced to nine years in prison for four counts of child endangering.
Clayton was arrested on Dec. 23, 2011 after police determined she tortured a 17-month-old and 12-year-old child.
According to court documents, Clayton burned a 12-year-old boy multiple times on his head, face and nose with a cigarette. In addition to the burns, the boy had broken teeth and a cut on his head.
She also broke several bones of a 17-month-old girl. The toddler also had cigarette burns on her foot and a cut on her head.
