MSD to host third community design workshop

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati is hosting its third Lick Run Community Design Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 23.

This workshop is the third in a series of three designed to gather public input on the proposed Lick Run Alternative project, a storm sewer separation project that would eliminate about 800 million gallons of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) annually in the Lick Run watershed.

The Lick Run watershed includes portions of South Fairmount, East and West Price Hill and Westwood.

At the meeting, participants will be asked to view and provide input on a preliminary Lick Run Master Plan, which contains a preliminary design concept for an urban waterway in South Fairmount.

The meeting will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Orion Academy in South Fairmount, located at 1798 Queen City Avenue.

No RSVPs are necessary, and you do not need to have attended either of the previous workshops to attend this one.
