Woman arrested for stealing water from fire hydrant | News
CLEVES, OH (FOX19)- Police have arrested a Cleves woman for stealing water from an area fire hydrant.
An arrest report for Donna Schweer, 44, states that she hooked up a hose to a fire hydrant and used the water to fill her private well.
A nearby resident near Schweer's Wesselman Road home called police to report Schweer.
When police arrived, Schweer admitted to hooking up the hose.
Cincinnati Water Works confirmed that someone had tampered with the hydrant.
She was charged with theft and has since been released from police custody.
