WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A memorial concert for a beloved man who passed away in September from complications of West Nile Virus is being held on Friday.
Richard Wesp will be honored at a concert featuring the Cincinnati Children's Choir at St. James Episcopal Church in Westwood where he was the choir director for 64 years. The concert begins at 7pm and will feature the Cincinnati Children's Choir, the Cincinnati Collaborative Ringing Project and some of Richard Wesp's closest friends and colleagues.
Richard was a valued member of the Cincinnati Children's Choir's Board of Directors and at the request of the Wesp Family, all proceeds will benefit the choir.
A memorial service at 4pm and reception will precede the concert. Tickets are required for the concert and are $20.
Wesp was also a well-known music teacher who taught at Anderson High School for 57 years. Tickets to the concert can be purchased by calling St. James Episcopal Church at (513) 661-1154 or CCC at (513) 556-0338.
St. James Episcopal Church is located in the 3200 block of Montana Avenue.
