Cultural Heritage Fest’s Grill Master Challenge | Community Spirit

PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Where does your culinary muse hail from? Price Hill Will and the East Price Hill Business Alliance, co-sponsors of the 3rd Annual Cultural Heritage Fest, are looking for three contestants to answer that question in the first ever Grill Master Challenge.  Contestants will prepare a dish representing a regional/cultural tradition on the grill.

How to Submit a Recipe:   Choose a regional/cultural cuisine (state, country or world) you would like to represent with your dish (i.e. Appalachian, Soul Food, Cajun, German, Chinese, Mexican, etc). Please limit to one region. The main entrée is flank steak – you may choose 1 side dish.

Submission Deadline for Contestant Application: July 11, 2012 at 5pm.

Food Preparation: Basic charcoal grills will be the main cooking source.  As much pre-preparation as possible is encouraged. Each contestant will be provided a station with sanitizing supplies, including washing units.

Number of Contestants: 3 contestants will be chosen for the contest.

Judging: The winner will be determined based on the points obtained on submission of the recipe and the number of votes and comments submitted by a panel of judges.
