CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Salvation Army announced on Wednesday that only two days remain for families to register for the 2012 Toy Shop program.

The Toy Shop program has ensured for more than 50 years that local children receive toys for Christmas. The program is targeted to low-income families in the local community, including Hamilton and Clermont counties in Ohio, and Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Northern Kentucky.

“We love serving the families in this way each Christmas,” stated Major Faith Miller, Divisional Program Secretary at The Salvation Army.  “It touches our hearts to know that we’re part of bringing Christmas joy to children in our community that would otherwise go without.  This is a great opportunity for local families to receive support for their children at Christmas.”
